ACTING BOOK UPDATE
Now Act! Insight, Advice, and Preparation Processes from Actors, Coaches, and Casting Directors is a compilation of personal essays and preparation processes that explore both craft and career.
Contributors include diverse working actors at various career stages, coaches, teachers, and casting directors, making this the first acting book with a “many voices under one roof” approach.
Topics include Understanding a Script, Memorization, Improvisation, Creating a Character, Scene Tools and Techniques, Auditioning, Stage vs Screen, Creative Collaboration, Safety on Set, and Developing a Sustainable Acting Career.

I was talking to a publisher who loves it, however it doesn’t fit their more academic model and they felt the audience would be better served with a lower cover price.
Bottom line, I haven’t found the right publisher and am planning to self-publish in two volumes, with an affiliate program, should you choose to help promote the book/s.
